Because nobody got into sport to build draws in a spreadsheet

Draws, fees, washouts and score sheets are where a season's admin piles up. Here's what changes.

  • The draw eats weeks of evenings every season, and a late withdrawal means doing it again.
  • Game fees are collected in cash on the night, and nobody is sure which teams still owe.
  • A washed-out round means emailing every captain and crediting each team by hand.
  • Score sheets come back on paper, and the ladder is wrong until someone types them up.
  • Intrac creates the fixtures, and when a team withdraws you clear the future rounds and draw them again.
  • Teams pay online per player or per team, and the outstanding accounts report shows who still owes.
  • Enter the washout once, and every booking caught in that time window is credited.
  • Referees enter scores on their phone as games finish, and players see the ladder update online.

Sutherland Sharks used to build the Summer Soccer draw with pen and paper, and it took 6 to 8 weeks. Fixturing and registrations now take a couple of clicks.

How a season runs in Intrac

From opening team entries to the final ladder, in the same system your teams use.

  1. 01

    Set up the season

Create each comp with its format, divisions and term. Set the team size, charge per player or per team, and limit grades by age, gender or level.

  2. 02

    Open team entries

Open the comp and teams enter through your branded dashboard. Each entry comes with its captain on record, and you place every team in a pool.

  3. 03

    Create the draw

Generate fixtures for every pool or division, with a court or field and a start time for each match. A gala day can run pools in the morning and a knockout after lunch.

  4. 04

    Run game night

Duty staff save each result as games finish, forfeits included, and the ladder updates straight away. Players can check the next round's fixtures before they leave the venue.

What is a sports competition management system?

A sports competition management system runs a competition season in one place: team entries, fees, fixtures, scores and ladders. Intrac is a class & facility management system that handles round robin, knockout, pools to knockout and division formats, right next to your court hire and payments.

Can it build a round robin draw for my courts and time slots?

Yes. Choose round robin for a pool or division and create the fixtures, with a court and start time for each match. Every match then shows on your booking sheet.

Can I run pools into a knockout for a gala day?

Yes. Pools to knockout is one of the formats, alongside round robin, knockout and divisions, so a gala day or one-day tournament can run group games before the knockout rounds.

Can captains enter teams and pay online?

Yes. A captain creates the team online and players join it by name. Fees are set per player or per team, and a captain paying for everyone is recorded as one team payment.

How are forfeits handled?

Forfeits are saved as results, the same way as any other score. The ladder adjusts, so it's right before the next round.

What happens when a round is washed out?

Every affected booking is credited. Enter the day and time window of the washout with a short comment, and teams see the credit when they next pay.

Can I run several divisions, nights and sports at once?

Yes. Every comp has its own teams, draw and ladder, and you can limit entry by age, gender or level. Monday netball, Thursday futsal and Saturday junior basketball can all run side by side.

What does Intrac cost for a competition organiser?

Pricing starts at 1.95% of monthly revenue, plus GST, with a $495 monthly minimum. Every plan includes ongoing support, upgrades and changes, and nobody pays a setup fee or signs a lock-in contract.
